Stanyan Autumn Bold

The Bold weight gathers the family’s casual strokes into a darker, more resonant voice. Its lines feel fuller and more assured, giving Anthony Goldschmidt’s hand lettering a confident presence while keeping the openness that makes Stanyan Autumn readable at size. In headlines and large quotations, the character really comes forward—the slightly uneven rhythm, the human swing, the sense of ink meeting paper. Set alongside lighter weights, Bold establishes a clear hierarchy without losing the gentle, earnest tone at the heart of the design. It’s expressive, but never heavy-handed.
