About Jefferson Gothic

JEFFERSON GOTHIC is an adaptation of News Gothic Extra Condensed drawn by Sol Hess in 1916. Particularly noticeable is the unusual integration of alternate round capitals. The Hess alternate round caps give the face a streamlined Art Deco feel perfect for evoking the era of modernity. This narrow titling font has no lower case, but does feature a full international character set.
