Speyside Light Italic

The lightest italic in Speyside trades weight for movement. Its strokes feel airy and deliberate, with a soft forward lean that draws out the family’s rounded, batik-inspired curves. Where the uprights are calm and controlled, Light Italic introduces a subtle sense of drift—ideal for emphasis within text or for titles that need grace rather than volume. It pairs naturally with the regular and medium weights, adding contrast without breaking the texture of a page. In longer passages it stays composed; in short lines it becomes quietly expressive.
