Platten Neu Light Italic

Platten Neu Light Italic carries the delicacy of the family to its most graceful point. The stroke contrast feels airy, and the slant introduces a gentle movement that echoes the rhythm of 1920s fountain pen exercises. Compared to the uprights, its personality is more intimate and expressive, drawing attention without raising its voice. The unusual details in the italic forms become more noticeable at this weight, giving text a subtle, handwritten inflection. Use it to soften structured layouts, to add hierarchy alongside the regular weights, or to bring a quiet warmth to covers, labels, and cultural projects.
