Platten Neu Demi Italic

Demi Italic carries a confident forward lean without losing the steadiness that defines Platten Neu. The weight gives the 1920s pen‑practice roots more presence, while the slant amplifies the family’s unusual details—those slightly idiosyncratic forms that set it apart from standard schoolbook models. It sits comfortably between the lighter Italics and the stronger weights, making it a natural choice for subheads, emphasis, and typographic contrast within longer texts. The result feels both disciplined and expressive: geometric at heart, yet warmly human in rhythm.
