Mai Regular Italic

Regular Italic introduces a calm, considered slant to the Mai Pro family, echoing the structure of the roman while adding a quiet sense of motion. Its rhythm remains steady and readable, making it well suited to extended passages, citations, and narrative emphasis rather than fleeting display. The italics carry the same transitional balance and subtle detailing found throughout the family, including its thoughtful ligatures and small caps support. Pair it with Mai Regular for nuanced hierarchy in book typography, or use it alongside heavier weights to soften contrasts and guide the reader with a more personal tone.
