Mackinac Extra Bold

Extra Bold pushes Mackinac’s old-style structure into confident territory. The diagonal stress and modest contrast remain intact, but the added weight deepens its color and amplifies its voice, giving the tall x-height even more authority. It stands apart from the lighter styles with a denser texture and stronger silhouette, yet it still pairs comfortably with Regular and Bold for clear hierarchy across spreads or identity systems. In larger settings it feels assertive and grounded; in shorter bursts of text it delivers emphasis without losing the family’s warmth.
