Kennerley Regular Italic

Regular Italic carries Kennerley’s voice into a more intimate register. The slant is measured rather than dramatic, preserving Goudy’s strong serifs and firm hairlines while introducing a gentle rhythm that moves the eye along the line. In extended reading, it blends seamlessly with the roman, offering emphasis without disrupting the color of the page. It’s especially at home in literary settings—chapter openings, extracts, correspondence—where nuance matters. Paired with the upright, it creates a quiet hierarchy that feels considered and distinctly classical.
