Glaser Babyfat Down

Down extends the illusion at the heart of Babyfat, projecting the letterforms toward the lower edge as if lit from above. Used on its own, it feels like a graphic echo; paired with Fill, Keyline, or Black, it becomes the shadow that locks the whole construction into place. The effect is pure 1960s optimism—bold, dimensional, unapologetically theatrical. In layered compositions, Down adds weight and direction, reinforcing hierarchy while amplifying the supermarket-sign bravado that first carried this alphabet into the world.
