Arts and Crafts Extra Light

The lightest voice in the family, Extra Light reveals the elegance of Dard Hunter’s Viennese-inspired lettering with a softer, more open presence. Its slender strokes emphasize the handcrafted curves and distinctive all-caps rhythm at the heart of the Roycroft tradition, giving the design a gentle, almost contemplative tone. Compared to the darker weights, it feels more atmospheric than declarative, making it especially suited to spacious layouts and subtle hierarchy. Pair it with a heavier companion from the family to create contrast while maintaining a cohesive Arts and Crafts character throughout.
