Bruce Rogers

Bruce Rogers is one of the most noted American classical typographers of the first half of the 20th century. Mr. Rogers’ ornamented book design work is revered and influential today. His Centaur type design (named Metropolitan Oldstyle for Lanston Monotype) is regarded as one of the most beautiful typefaces ever cut.
