Jim Lyles

For over 32 years, Jim Lyles worked in the Type group at both Linotype and Bitstream, perfecting his design skills and learning the technical side of font production. Since 2012, Jim has been working independently on his own fonts at Park Street Studio and collaborating with Brian Bonislawsky, stocking an array of foundries, including Stiggy & Sands, Grype, and the Monogram Fonts Company. He also owns BluHead Studio, where he is digitizing Joseph Churchward’s vast library of photo fonts.
