Herbert Bayer

As professor of the typography and graphic design workshop of the Bauhaus school, Herbert Bayer was instrumental in innovating typographic designs along functional and Constructivist lines. Editing the alphabet to distinct, pure and rationally constructed forms, Bayer’s “Universal” type is considered an icon of modern design.
