¶ THE LATE JOHN DREYFUS composing additional material for his book 'Typographical Bouquets' in 1985. This was the old keyboard loft at the Northland Letterpress Company. At that time access to the loft was available only by a common ladder. The Benton Pantographs were in the punch cutting department on a separate loft on the other side of the truss beam shown.
I had many creative problems with this book. It was so flattering of my craftsmanship that it gave me "stage fright".
¶ JOHN DREYFUS writing some additional material for his book. It was on this trip that he proof read the text that had been set in Fournier Oldstyle. Dreyfus climbed up the ladder shown in the photograph on the previous page.
There were far younger souls more timid.
