Edition Serigraph Print
This
handsome print is an actual size reproduction of an original
poster designed by Czech artist Vojtech
Preissig in 1919 and
based
on the actual poster that was presented to Dard
Hunter by Preissig
in 1920. The original print
made for an exhibition at the
Albright Gallery,
Buffalo, NY. The original design was cut in
linoleum blocks and was printed at the Wentworth Institute of
Technology in Boston, Mass.
This
hand screened Serigraph edition is printed in 6 colors on Mohawk
Superfine 65# acid-free cover weight paper. Only 200 copies of
the poster-print have been produced. Image size is 20" x
24" and
sheet size is 24" x 30" Each one is hand numbered
and includes a provenance sheet. Co-Published by P22 editions
and the Dard Hunter Studios.
