Also known as Cloister Initials, this set of 26 decorative capitals was designed by Frederic Goudy in 1919. These were originally released digitally by The Lanston Type Co. as individual EPS files (due to the complexity of each design, it would have been overwhelming for the font technology of the late 1980s). This new release features all 26 characters in one font with simplified outlines that are true to the original design, yet optimized for designing and printing with today's computers.
